  • 질문 I paid application fee by credit card but it paid twice by mistake. Can I get a refund?
    답변 Please email us and inform us of your double payment then we will cancel one of the payments after checking your personal information.
  • 질문 I paid application fee by credit card and it charges over USD 80, what happened?
    답변 Application fee; USD 80 doesn’t include transaction charge. If you transfer the application fee, you have to consider its remittance charge of international transaction
  • 질문 Can I pay the application fee by bank transfer?
    답변 Yes you may, but sometimes it takes more than weeks to check your application fee from KAIST bank account. Please meet the online application deadline.
  • 질문 How can I pay for the application fee?
    답변 Pay application fee, 80 USD or 80,000 KRW, by credit card or bank transfer. Any additional charges (i.e. bank charges) should be covered by the candidate. If you want to do the bank transfer, it takes some time so please do it before the document submission deadline. And please don’t forget to fill out the “INVOICE, http://admission.kaist.ac.kr/international/?page_id=1152”.
  • 질문 I have missed the online application deadline, can you help me?
    답변 We are sorry but no. You have to apply for next semester.
  • 질문 Do you accept paper application for admission?
    답변 No, we accept online application only.
  • 질문 The KISA aims to assist the international student community in their life at KAIST.
    답변 KISA provides students with useful information, and also prepares many events for the international community. KISA also maintains close contact with international Alumni, providing current students with a clearer picture of their future.
  • 질문 I failed to upload my photograph on online application. Whenever I try, error message comes out.

    답변 You can access https://apply.kaist.ac.kr/InterApply/InterApply/Login and apply during the online application period only. Please read instructions carefully before you begin your application.

    답변 Yes, we do sell Halal food.

    답변 KAIST provides kitchen facilities for the convenience of international students. The International Kitchen facility is location in Nanum Hall (W7), and students must apply with the ISSS within the registration period to use this kitchen.   • 질문 Can I cook inside my room?
    답변 It is forbidden for students to cook or use cooking devices of any kind inside their rooms, regardless of the dormitory hall. This is to keep the rooms clean and prevent fire and explosion hazards. Students can use the microwave ovens and water dispensers (with hot and cold water) in the student lounges.
